How XTec CA Services Work
With over 15 years of experience issuing PIV-I credentials, XTec is a pioneer in CA services. Our evolution includes the introduction of the XTec Cloud PKI CA, which has been integral since 2021. This CA is linked to the Federal Bridge via a strategic partnership between WidePoint-ORC and XTec.
FedRAMP Certified Security
XTec’s CA services are powered by the XTec CloudPKI, operating within a FedRAMP certified environment. This guarantees that our services meet rigorous federal security standards while maintaining the highest levels of integrity.
Specialized PKI Chains
In 2022, XTec introduced a dedicated PKI chain for non-Federal enterprises, offering the robust security of XTec CloudPKI without direct interaction with the US Federal PKI. This service adheres to ISO 21188 specifications and is undergoing assessment for inclusion in the Adobe Trust List (AATL) Program.
GSA Authorization
In 2024, XTec was added to the GSA Shared Service Provider Program, allowing Federal agencies to benefit from our FedRAMP Cloud PKI for issuing PIV cards and Federal PKI compliant certificates.
