XTec is led by a seasoned team of Identity and Credential management industry professionals who have over 20 years of experience in working within a secured Government environment. Our business operations are located in Miami FL, Reston VA, Washington DC and throughout the National Capital region.
Summary of Position:
As a Junior Program Manager you will work under general supervision of the Program Manager while performing work related to contract and program success. Job duties include; participating in the development and administration of program budget, implementing, promoting and evaluating deliverables on assigned programs. As the Junior Program Manager you will also investigate and resolve client complaints while preparing and maintaining records and reports relevant to program progress.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, coordinate, promote and evaluate deliverables on assigned programs.
- Assure program contract or regulatory compliance.
- Investigates and resolves client complaints.
- Participates in the development and administration of program budget.
- Prepares and maintains records and reports.
- May oversee care and maintenance of assigned facilities and/or vehicles and equipment.
- May assist and/or write proposals to develop new funding sources.
- May supervise assigned personnel, including front line staff and/or support staff.
Business Knowledge and Technical/Analytical Skills:
- Program planning, development and management.
- Analyze and evaluate data.
- Prepare and maintain complex reports and records.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- State and federal programs and regulations (Preferred).
- Budget and proposal development and management (Preferred)
- Interpret, implement and maintain a program (Preferred)
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Preferred) OR the equivalent combination of education and 5 years experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Project and Publisher
- PMP Certification (Preferred)
